Natural rubber (NR) - this is rubber featuring extensively high elasticity and tear resistance. It is used for applications in contact with foodstuffs, thus it is often also called as food rubber.

This rubber is often used for production of rubber parts (gaskets) by cutting, or shearing. It is suitable for sealing non-movable connections and for elimination of friction between metal surfaces.
